Terms of Service

The platform

3M provides a marketplace that connects companies with freelancers and production professionals. We facilitate discovery, applications, bookings, messaging, and payments — we are not the employer of record for freelancers unless explicitly stated in a separate agreement.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure.
• Company accounts may require admin approval before full access.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, discriminate, or attempt to circumvent platform fees or contact restrictions
• Post false credentials, poach users off-platform, or scrape data without permission
• Upload malware, spam, or illegal content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

Jobs, bookings & payments

Companies are responsible for accurate job postings and on-site safety. Freelancers are responsible for the quality of their work and compliance with applicable laws. Payment terms, fees, and dispute processes will be shown at checkout or in booking flows when those features are enabled.

SMS text messaging

By providing your mobile phone number in Settings and requesting a verification code on the 3M Platform, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from 3M Multimedia Group related to your account. These messages are limited to optional phone verification and security codes for sign-in when multi-factor authentication is enabled. Mobile verification is not required to create or use an account.

• You must provide a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use.
• Message frequency is low and based on your account activity (typically one message per verification or login attempt).
• Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this program unless you separately opt in to such communications in the future.

Content & intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant 3M a license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the platform. Our brand, software, and design remain our property.

Disclaimers & liability

The platform is provided "as is" during early access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3M is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
